My relatives who just moved into their new house located a stone's throw from our place have really done up their house nicely. They have installed iron entry doors at the entrance, and the foyer has Italian marble floors. Right when you enter the house, you can see the twirling staircase which has wrought iron railings. They have actually used a lot of iron fittings in their house, and that led me to wonder where they were able to get affordable iron doors. Especially considering the fact that their iron doors were hand crafted traditional Spanish and Old World styles with antiqued bronze finish, and had intricate detailing, graceful curves, and delicate flowers. They gave me the address of the company where they got them from, and I think I will get an iron door too, at least for my main entry. I will feel more secure knowing that an iron door is virtually rust free and indestructible, as it can not be easily bent or cut.
