Medicines and biotech products

One of my distant relatives is suffering from a medical problem for which she asked me to do some research. She wanted to know about the various medicines and biotech products available to treat her condition and the various benefits and/or side effects associated with them. Biotech products can be effective and relatively cheaper to treat serious diseases. Hence, I spent the past few days searching the internet for the information she needed. In my search, I came across the website of Genentech, which impressed me a lot. This company was founded in 1976 to help people in serious diseases by manufacturing innovative medicines for life-threatening medical conditions. Moreover, they offer their medicines at prices that the common man can afford. Some medicines and biotech products that they manufacture are Avastin, Herceptin, Rituxan, and more. What really impressed me about Genentech was the fact that they provide assistance programs such as Avastin Patient Assistance Program. They also support those people who need insurance, co-payments and or reimbursement.
