Moving is no joke

If you recall, I had told you earlier about one of my relatives who just moved into their new house located a stone's throw from our place. Yes, they are the same ones who are throwing a housewarming party this weekend for which I have to keep myself free, so that I can attend. Well, today they were telling me about how they went about moving their household possessions, as well as their experiences with different moving companies. I came to understand that it is certainly a bit stressful choosing among different moving companies as it is often difficult to tell which one you can trust the most with your precious possessions. My relatives revealed that they have a lot of antiques and heirlooms that have been passed down from their previous generations, and if something were to happen to those items, it would be devastating. Hence they went through the process of screening several moving companies really diligently before zeroing in on the one they finally chose. They also told me that they took quotes from a number of companies and the one they chose also gave them a pretty substantial discount. I was really impressed by their methodological approach. That's the way to go, because moving is really no joke.
