Business Management

One of my friends has decided to set up his own business. It took him quite some time to finally get down to it. Actually, he had been looking for a job for a very very long time but, due to the recession, he had not been able to find a job at all. Even though he is quite well qualified, he found it difficult to even get past the initial screening stage, simply because of the fact that jobs were very scarce and there was so much competition for even one job. That is why he decided to ultimately start his own business, because that way he would not have to depend on anyone else for his livelihood. He called me up to ask me for advice on how to manage his business, so I told him to do a short course on Business Management to learn the ropes. It is better to learn from the mistakes of others than to waste your time and money on making your own mistakes and then rectifying them. My friend also agrees with me, and has decided to take up the course on business management, as that will better equip him for his business.
